We, at Omnicom Media Group Nepal, a subsidiary of OmnicomMediaGroup Australia are looking to hire for the position of Media Systems Assistant.

About this Role

As the Assistant to the Media Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in OMG by providing support to all staff in the use of media software applications.

You will help manage the existing systems and interface with all levels of OMG management regarding the development and implementation of automated business solutions.

This is not purely a systems role, it will combine the necessary complementary skillsets of Systems, Technology and Analytics.

Assist staff in all media applications

• Provide support, troubleshooting and problem-solving for all media applications.
• Liaise with software vendors on problems with media applications as necessary.
• Inform staff of issues or developments for all media applications
• Liaise between IT support and trading on issues affecting media application performance.
• Assist in new applications testing and rollout.
• Provision of ongoing information such as tips and shortcuts to enhance the use of media software and applications.

Data loading and maintenance of rate cards across OMG group

• Load 3rd party supplier data files daily and weekly
• Ensuring access for group of appropriate rates
• Maintain documentation of rate loading dates by station
• Notification of changes/updates to all TV trading staff

Update and maintain codes and master files for media systems

• Maintain documentation for coding structures in Media Desktop (SMD)

Extraction of data for reporting

An example of this

• Client contract levels
• Assist Management in market research and analysis as and when required for

Ad hoc reports, presentations

Consults with:

• All levels of OMG management and staff
• TPA – Third Party Agencies who access OMG systems.
• OMG IT Team
• External Suppliers of media software

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong data skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
• IT or software skills- TAFE diploma or related IT/Software course.
• Or have done a media course and show an interest in software/IT/Data

There will be intensive on-the-job training – therefore key competencies required are-

• Ability to multitask.
• Copes well under pressure.
• Good customer service skills.
• Software/IT interest.
• Takes direction well.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
