Bachelor’s degree in a business related function
Concentration in Marketing preferred
The overall role of brand management is to create consumer demand. They are responsible for formulating the brand’s long-term strategy and developing and executing marketing plans. They define the brand’s trade merchandising, advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly. They execute marketing initiatives in support of long term strategies through leadership of the business unit team.
Assist in developing and executing promotional initiatives to increase consumption of the brand within budgeted parameters.
Manage campaigns on social media.
Organize and monitor events to promote the brand.
Closely monitor and analyze competing brand’s marketing activities.
With the Brand Manager, develop direct-to-consumer marketing and sales programs to drive revenue and build brand awareness.
Plan and implement BTL activities.
Liaising with vendors for fabrication of local material and negotiating rates.
Visiting the market and local outlets and improving visibility in it.
Good teamwork skills
Communication skills (written and oral)
Good organization and planning skills
Persuasiveness and tenacity to sell ideas
Additional Skill Set:
Should be adept in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
Knowledge of graphic designing software like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. is a must.
