Marketing Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for someone to join our marketing team, who will be involved in marketing, event managing, client servicing and facebook marketing as well.

Overview:

To be successful in this role, you will have to be:

  • Self-motivated and creative with a strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work with specific parameters, deadlines, guidelines and budgets
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills (this role works across several projects at a time)
  • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership for project delivery
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and/or pursue a resolution from available resources
  • Brief team and management on the status of projects, as required
  • Liaise with suppliers i.e.: printers, digital agencies, photographers, animators and videographers

Requirements of the role:

  • Previous experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Ideally a degree in marketing although not essential.
  • Strong and confident communicator.
  • Good copywriting skills
  • Design skills (basic) including graphics and web design would be appreciated, but not essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media and web analytics
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • A team player with a customer-oriented approach

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Preferably have an idea about how to work with design softwares, but not necessary.
  • Must be well versed in both English and Nepali speaking, reading and typing

Key responsibilities:

  • Dealing with existing clients and bringing in new clients.
  • Creating and implementing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Creating and developing new innovative ideas.
  • Planning and managing events.
  • Developing and implementing an internal marketing programme.
  • Supporting the team in day to day marketing activities.
  • Plan, develop and deliver campaigns as agreed within timescales.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics

  • Plan, develop and deliver campaigns as agreed within timescales
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics
