Job Description:

Sales Managers are integral to Kaymu’s success. SMs are assigned specific product categories and are responsible for building and growing those categories. A strong drive, excellent communication skills and exceptional analytical skills are required to succeed in this position. You will:

  • Be responsible for specific categories assigned to you
  • Identify product gaps in the category and source new products and/or new sellers to ensure that we have the best products at best prices in the market
  • Build strong relationship with your sellers, understand their problems and train them on our software and internal processes effectively
  • Initiate and execute seasonal, promotional or sales campaigns and monitor our marketing efforts to ensure maximum visibility and sales
  • Ensure that the sellers within your categories are performing - i.e. actively updating products, dispatching orders on time and paying our services fees.
  • Analyze data to identify problems and work closely with the sellers to improve performance

Qualities we are looking for:

  • You need to be creative, flexible and have a start-up spirit. You enjoy challenges and are hungry to make a difference in Nepalese e-commerce.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in science, engineering or business disciplines
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in sales, advertising or client relations
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills. Very comfortable with Excel and numbers
  • Strong drive to learn and perform, let’s-get-it-done attitude

Senior Manager General Merchandise/Fashion

Job Location: Narayanchaur, Naxal, Kathmandu

Job Description:

Business Development

  • Develop and drive Online General Merchandising strategy for Bangladesh market based on Daraz Central Team analogy
  • Hunt and onboard new sellers/distributors/brands based upon requirement and  Daraz BD product category/line-up
  • Increase product line-up and assortments
  • Weekly and monthly trend analysis on category mix, page views, click rate and conversion as well identify correlation between discount and successful sell-out
  • Regular offline market check and understand product demand, pricing & retail activities
  • Collect relevant product discounts and onboard them on weekly/monthly/yearly campaign

Sales

  • Meet monthly NMV (Sales) target by collecting deals/discounts, onboard new sellers, increase assortments etc

Key Account Management

  • Maintain & enhance relationship among all big brand/seller/distributors
  • Regular visits to brand/seller/distributors to acquire leads
  • Coordinate regular seller payments

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Management, Engineering or a related discipline preferred
  • Ideally previous experience in corporate sales, advertising or client relations
  • Experience of 2-4 years in Business Development/Sales/Marketing
  • Knowledge of current Mobile/Electronics Market, fashion and trends
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
  • Very comfortable with Excel and numbers
  • Full time commitment is required. Part-time candidates may not apply
