SF is planning to initiate development programmes through local NGOs in Nepal. SF is working in several countries in the four regions. SF is having its Asia regional office in Sri Lanka. In addition to Nepal we facilitate projects in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the Asia Region. In order to commence and strengthen our Nepal operations we are looking for a prospective candidate who has a passion to work with the poor and is keen on development work. Educational Description
- The position requires a dynamic person with relevant education, preferably with postgraduate qualification in Sociology and Development, with at least five years of work experience in a senior positions in the development sector with hands on experience in participatory development.

Job Description
He/She will be required to handle the following tasks and responsible under the direct supervision of Asia-Regional Director and would have to liaise with regional education team.
- Guide and supervise, coach and mentor staff attached to the programme team.
- Production and development of proposals.
- Production of regular and periodic reports.
- Develop strategies, manage, promote and coordinate SF support to projects/ activities with the cooperating partners in the country.
- Institutional development and capacity building of partner NGOs providing technical support and training in planning, monitoring, reporting and impact monitoring.
- Promote and assist implementation of strategies and approaches to social development.
