Job Specification

• Should be able to work in operations with a like-minded group of people
• Should be able to multi task
• Actual travel experience is helpful, but not mandatory; however, you must be interested in learning and be able to do internet research quickly and efficiently
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and basic Photoshop; basic HTML a plus
• Must have a well-rounded grasp on the social media landscape and an understanding of how to read and use Google analytics and other statistics tools
• Strong communication skills, both as a writer and researcher
• Organized and efficient! Must be able to prioritize, produce and keep track of multiple projects and files simultaneously
• Understanding the big picture�we are a small company in a tough economy; we have a very unique, interesting product but must always be looking for new ways to get our name out there and expand our audience.
• Must be trustworthy, energized and should think on your feet

Job Description

• Research about tourism prospective destination within country
• In-depth destination expertise or knowledge to learn about destination
• Manage promotions calendar both international and national
• Design and create interesting email newsletter concept
• Research and create contacts with necessary elements of any travel program designed
• Write and type letters, flyers, brochures and postcards for client programs and general promotions
• Write and help design new tour itineraries, sales kit docs and PPTs, Google earth presentations
• Write copy for ads, catalogs, web
• Write bios of tour guides and other professionals in the company
• Create marketing, promotions and other relevant forms of design & concept
• Conceptualize and execute campaigns for direct-mail, vendor email and online marketing efforts
• Write proposals, as needed, for strategic partnerships and promotions
• Prepare promotional materials for events and sales trips, including print brochures, PPT presentations and signage
• Maintain in-house photography and copy libraries
