We are seeking two highly skilled and motivated Nepali professionals to continue The Foundation’s work in Nepal through the management of our partnership with the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO). Both positions will work closely with TIO’s leadership & program teams in achieving their strategic objectives, building capacity and furthering the impact and reach of programs to end avoidable blindness. Your experience at a strategic level, skill in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and capacity to work in a global organisation will be essential for success in the role. 

Partnership Manager

 

Job Location: Kathmandu

Essential criteria includes:

  • Degree in public health, international development or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience managing complex, large scale programs in public health or development.
  • Previous experience in managing high-level representation and strategic advocacy to engage and influence senior levels of government, multi-lateral agencies and other partners
  • Strong project management skills across the full project cycle, including program development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Commitment to and strong capacity for working through collaboration and partnerships – must have superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience liaising with and meeting the requirements of Government departments
  • Strong written and verbal English ability

Program Coordinator

Job Location: Kathmandu

 

No. of Vacancy: 1

 

  • Help ending avoidable blindness
  • Your experience in all stages of project cycle management, M & E, managing budgets and fluency in written and spoken Nepali and English will be essential.  

Other requirements include:

  • University degree in public health, social science, rural development, international development or another related field 
  • At least four year experience working for international development and local organisations, preferably in a health related field in Nepal 
  • Minimum of 2 years working as a program coordinator or similar role with a demonstrated track record in managing all stages of the project cycle 
  • Knowledge of the Nepal health system  
  • Experience liaising with and meeting the requirements of Government departments
  • Report writing skills and experience working with donors
